U.S. "Extreme Drought" Triples In Size In One Week: The US Drought Monitor reported a nearly threefold increase in areas of extreme drought over the past week in the nine Midwestern states where three quarters of the country's corn and soybean crops are produced. "That expansion of D3 or extreme conditions intensified quite rapidly and we went from 11.9 percent to 28.9 percent in just one week," Brian Fuchs, a climatologist and Drought Monitor author, told AFP. The International Association for the Protection of Civilian Arms Rights and The Examiner have analyzed the treaty, while pointing out that member states like France have “let slip that their ultimate goal is to regulate legitimately-owned ‘weapons.’”

The United Nations has a sordid history of pursuing “general and complete disarmament,” and individual arms including legally owned arms have always been part of that focus. The United Nations treaty from 2001, known as the “SADC Protocol: Southern African Development Community” is, according to the UN’s own disarmament website, a “regional instrument that aims to curtail small arms ownership and illicit trafficking in Southern Africa along with the destruction of surplus state weapons. It is a far-reaching instrument, which goes beyond that of a politically binding declaration, providing the region with a legal basis upon which to deal with both the legal and the illicit trade in firearms.”

As we have previously noted, U.S. troops have been trained to confiscate American guns, while the confiscation in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina has already set the precedent.

This chart was provided to me by Rav Pinchus Winston years ago. It made sense that during the previous Shmittah cycle the years when this chart would have been most relevant were the years 5766 or 5767. So the blog post was written for that Shmittah Cycle. Yet, we really blew it. We treated each other like animals. We pulled people out of their homes for no good reason whatsoever. We put hundreds of thousands of people into the range of longer range and more accurate missiles. We lowered the property values of unknown numbers of people who live within a certain radius of the Gaza Strip. So we failed a basic test of common decency.

Current Russian Events in Colorado: There have been numerous events around Colorado in the current weeks. Recently, here in my area. A good friend was at a shooting range on 7-21-12. He was there only a short time, and called me. He said there were 3 very "buffed" men at one end of the range, and that they were speaking both perfect English and Russian at the same time! (As I understand it, from talking to a gentleman who knows, you would have to start a child at 5 yrs. old to accomplish that.) My friend spent quite a bit of time with them. Asked them what they were doing in the States. Said they were"mechanical engineers" . My friend, former military and and an armorer, said he had never seen pistol shooting like that. 2 and 3 inch groups at 25 yards, rapid fire. more

Missile Fired Over Southern IL. and Western KY / Letter from Retired Marine: Yesterday afternoon, around 1400 hours while driving down the Western KY. Parkway my wife seen a contrail from a missile. She told me, to look and I did and at first I told her no, that it is a contrail from a jet not a missile. She said, no look there is a contrail from a jet over there which is straight. The missile contrail was not straight at all and a little later the missile blew up. The missile was fired from somewhere in the North West and heading South East and the only place I know the missile could have come from would be Scott's Air Force Base. But, have no idea why they were shooting a missile in the first place. more
