I DEEPLY REGRET THE TEMPORARY LOSS OF ALL MY ARCHIVES ON THIS BLOGGER, IT IS MY FAULT AS I STRUGGLE USING A COMPUTER EVERY DAY. I AM TRYING TO GET THE BLOGGER PEOPLE TO RESTORE EVERYTHING AND THIS MAY TAKE A FEW DAYS. THIS BLOGGER SYSTEM HAS DETERIORATED AND IT TAKES ME MANY HOURS TO WRITE A SIMPLE BLOGGER. IF I MUST I WILL FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO START A NEW BLOGGER. I CAN NOT KEEP GOING THROUGH THIS MISERY OF PUBLISHING A BLOGGER DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY. MY ONLY CONTACT WITH THE BLOGGER PEOPLE IS BY EMAIL.
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING ?? - MUST READ
I routinely have been logging into dealer websites with my private account for at least the last year. I have been doing this every morning and I check stock of the supplies that are available. It is very rare to find a stocking wholesaler that carries both S&W and Ruger products, its either one or the other and that was set by Ruger many years ago.
I have accounts with many of the very largest wholesalers in this country which include knife dealers as well. I am not a big purchaser of anything anymore but most will accommodate me as I have been around for a very long time and they all know me.
Sig Sauer no longer sells to wholesalers, they eliminated them so they could sell directly to stocking retail eastablishments and make more money. The current President of Sig in America came from the Kimber Company and he has changed all Sig pistol components to cheap MIM parts. In my opinion the older Sig pistols were a far better weapon. It all comes down to their false G-D "BENJAMIN FRANKLIN"
Surefire Flashlights have always been top of the line but they also no longer sell to stocking wholesalers around the country and you must buy your products direct from Surefire as far as I know. There are other companies that are making very good flash lights now, many are made in third world countries. I think that the best way to go in a flash light is using LED bulbs that last a very long time. LED stands for Light Emitting Diode.
When I look up stock in paper catalogs it is not listed as it changes daily from gun wholesalers certain companies will now allow the wholesalers to print the prices. I can get the prices either by calling them or logging on to their website with my account number.
I just received an issue of Shooting Industry Magazine and I read two letters from Gun Stores complaining about their in ability to get guns for their customers. When I read this it only confirmed my thoughts, WHERE ARE ALL THE HANDGUNS GOING, THEY ARE OUT OF STOCK AND HAVE BEEN FOR A VERY LONG TIME.
Lets break it down, these manufacturers must sell their products to remain in business, if they make handguns or ammunition or knives if they are not turning out their product or what ever, they can not stay in business and pay their employees and keep their doors open. Its basic economics and capitalism.
I have checked the stock daily for NAA Guardian pistols and there are none available in the sites I have checked. I have checked for Colt handguns and there are none available in the sites I go. I have checked Kel-Tec handguns and there are none available in the sites I have been. There are no Springfield Armory Mil spec 1911 pistols available and many times these products are listed as allocated. AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON AND ON.
I have been looking for premium Cold Steel knives for a very long time and they are not available and these are "NOT" cheap knives as they retail for $400.00 they are being made in Seki, Japan. No one makes a sharper knife than Cold Steel.
I check for ammunition regularly and it is drying up for 7.62x39 and 9x18 mm.... There is very little ammunition available for the AK-47 that is for sale at this time to the american civillian market at this time. WHY ?? There are several explanations that I have heard but I do not have a clue which one is true. There is a published article that even claims that the US government has ordered 73 million rounds of 7.62x 39 for the Afghanistan Government forces.
There was a written report that says American forces have fired 250,000 rounds of 5.56 mm ammunition which is the very same as 223 Rem. for the M16, it took these 250,000 rounds to kill each terrorist in Iraq so they were running out of ammunition. They purchased Israeli ammunition for American troops for their M16 rifles and I saw a photo showing an American in Iraq painting out the label on each case that said Made In Israel. It appeared he was using black paint.
The most puzzling thing about what I am saying is where are all the handguns, if in fact they are still being manufactured. I honestly do not know any more than I am telling you. The sales people I have asked have told me they simply do not know. I suggest due to current circumstances that you purchase what you want now, at this point in time because in my opinion this situation is not getting any better, and that is if you can actually find what you want.
There are limitations to what I can afford, my major earning power days are over. I am honest about it and I never lie to myself. If you have a specific handgun you really like and rely on I would suggest that you buy another one now if you can find it. I do not see availability of handguns easing up, the reasons are unknown to me. We are in serious trouble in this world and I personally believe in Bible prophecy and I believe the CLOCK IS TICKING.
